Fallout 76: 8 Events That Give The Best Rewards
Players will come across a lot of goodies throughout Fallout 76's many events. These examples offer some of the best rewards.
Most of the underrated events aren't public. This means that players will have to look for them in the World Activity on the map screen. From Leader Of The Pack to Irrational Fear, some very good events often get overlooked by players. This topic will go through some of the most underrated events that are worth doing.
1 Leader Of The Pack
Take Out Some Wolf Packs
Leader Of The Pack is an event in the forest region. It typically takes place around Tyler County Dirt Track, north of Vault 76. The event itself is straightforward and can be completed in just a few minutes.
To complete this event, the player will need to take down three wolf pack leaders. They will be marked on the player's map. The wolf packs are all located pretty close to each other, so it shouldn't take more than a few minutes to complete the event. Upon killing the third leader, there's a chance that a fourth pack will appear and need to be taken down. This gives players some extra rewards.

Fallout 76: Leader Of The Pack Event Guide
The Leader of the Pack event is a simple one, but it's a good way to get some decent rewards in Fallout 76.
Completing the event awards players with three legendary items (one from each pack leader), some XP, Caps, and a few random loot items. There's also a small chance that the player will receive a rare piece of apparel related to the forest region, like the Forest Camo Jumpsuit or the Responder's Uniform.
This is a great event for those looking for some fast XP. It's also perfect for daily and weekly challenges that require players to kill wolves or eat cooked meals. When killed, a wolf will drop meat that can be taken to a cooking station and turned into hot meals.
2 Project Paradise
A Dangerous Experiment
Project Paradise is by far the most difficult event here. It's a public event that takes place inside Arktos Pharma. To complete this event, players will need to fill three feeding troughs and then defend some friendly creatures against three waves of enemies.
This event is great for several reasons. While it is difficult, the rewards are more than worth it. There's a hidden reward inside this event that can be triggered. After initializing the event via the terminal downstairs, follow the steps below to unlock the extra reward:
- Head through the hall behind the terminal
- On the right, there's a closed door with a keypad next to it
- Input the code 970930. This will open the door
- Head through the door and look over the balcony
- Down the stairs, there's a closed double door. Inside that room, on the left side, there's an Engineering Terminal
- On the Terminal, select Shutdown Code
- Then, head back to the original Terminal and select Shut Down
Doing this does a few things. First, the friendly creatures will actually help fight off the enemies, and they will heal themselves between rounds. Second, it shuts down the Pharma Security Robots, making the event easier. Third, and most importantly, the player will receive an extra reward for completing the event. Players will unlock the ability to craft the Pharma Backpack skin.
There is also a chance for players to receive one of the former Nuclear Winter plans for completing this event. As a whole, the event gives players lots of XP, great rewards, and a couple of legendary items from downed enemies.
3 Horde Events
Take Down An Enemy Group
Horde events are very simple and easy to do. While they aren't the most rewarding events in the game, more often than not, players will be able to get a 3-star legendary item for completing a horde event. To complete a horde event, players will need to search up to four different locations to find the source of the horde.

Players can narrow down the search if they know what type of enemies spawn in what region. For example, if there is a Mirelurk horde in the Mire region, then they will probably be hiding out at Highland Marsh, as it's a natural Mirelurk spawn point.
Each region has its enemy types and its own sets of rewards. Players will be awarded some Caps, XP, aid items, ammo, and a legendary item that can be looted off the horde boss. Also, depending on the region, there's a chance for the player to receive a piece of rare apparel. Horde events are very underrated. They offer relatively decent rewards, and they can be done in just a couple of minutes.
4 Fertile Soil
Stop A Robot Rampage
Fertile Soil is normally the first event that new players come across after leaving the vault. Located in Vault-Tec Agricultural Research Center, this event requires the player to take down three robot supervisors before changing the farmhand parameters on the Terminal located in the basem*nt of the facility.
It's a quick and easy event. It's great for a little extra XP and a few useful junk components. After the player has done the event a couple of times, they will get the hang of how it works, and they'll be able to complete it in around two minutes.
Since it's a forest event, similar to Leader Of The Pack, the player has a chance to receive a piece of rare apparel upon completing Fertile Soil. This event is particularly useful for completing weekly challenges like "Complete 3 Events." This event doesn't take long, and it tends to pop up quite frequently.
5 Irrational Fear
Help A Scared Robot
Irrational Fear is an event that takes place in the Mire region. It's a strange event. Players will need to help a Mr. Handy Robot collect some honey. The strangest thing about this event is that the robot is scared of bees.
It's one of the games' more wacky events. That said, it's worth doing for a few reasons. First, the enemies that spawn in the event are Honey Beasts and Yao Guai. These creatures give players a nice amount of XP when killed. Second, it's a great place to come and collect honey to give to Sweetwater for the daily quest "Strange Brew."
Finally, there's a small chance of the player being awarded a piece of rare apparel that's tied to the Mire region. This includes items like the Leather Coat and the Tattered Field Jacket. These are some of the most valuable items in Fallout 76.
